KETO JAM

Probably the most simple recipe you can ever make! This keto Jam is only 1 ingredient... and that's cherries! Of course you can add whatever you like to add to this recipe, like keto ingredients to thicken up the jam. Or sweetener, chia seeds, flax seeds. But in this recipe we will just stick to the basics.


Personally I like a smooth jam with no lumps or seeds.

How can you make jam out of only 1 ingredient? Simple let me tell you how it's done!





STEP 1: WASH YOUR CHERRIES


STEP 2: PIT THE CHERRIES


STEP 3: ADD YOUR CHERRIES TO A POT AND BOIL


STEP 4: WHEN IT STARTS TO BOIL TURN DOWN THE STOVE AND SIMMER


YOU CAN LEAVE THE CHERRIES LIKE THIS BUT I ENDED UP BLENDING THEM JUST TO MAKE A SMOOTHER JAM (OPTIONAL)


STEP 5: BLEND THE CHERRIES


I ADDED 1/8 XANTHAN GUM AND 1 TBS ERYTHRITOL (OPTIONAL)


STEP 6: RETURN TO STOVE AND SIMMER, KEEP STIRRING SO IT THICKENS


STEP 7: COOL THEN REFRIGERATE
